WW1 - Menin Gate Ceremony, Ypres, Belgium
The Last Post Ceremony held at the Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres, Belgium, is a daily tribute to fallen Allied soldiers from World War I. It takes place every evening at 8pm. Buglers from the Last Post Association sound the Last Post under the Memorial's arches. The ceremony has been held every night since 1928, except for the period during World War II when it was occupied by the Nazis and held at Brookwood Cemetery, England.
